Senior Sales Engineer, Domestic Building Services

As our new Senior Sales Engineer, you will be leveraging deep technical expertise and commercial acumen to identify new business opportunities, advise customers on optimal water technology solutions, and drive sales performance across the Domestic Building Services segment. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Commercial Sales - Domestic Building Services team, you'll create impact by Driving sustainable growth by connecting customers with innovative Grundfos solutions that transform how buildings manage water.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Identify and conduct feasibility studies for new business opportunities, executing tactical sales plans aligned with overall strategy
  • Provide expert technical advice to customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on products, system solutions, and applications
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitor strategies and business trends, delivering actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Utilize SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting to inform sales decisions
  • Conduct specialized product and application training for customers, dealers, and the sales team
  • Coach and mentor junior team members while maintaining accurate CRM records and customer master data

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically sharp, self-driven sales professional with strong knowledge of Domestic Building Services, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and the resilience to thrive under pressure while pursuing ambitious targets. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of relevant sales engineering experience, preferably within Domestic Building Services or a large manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of building services systems, relevant local regulations, and technical problem-solving
  • Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with SAP BW and CRM tools for business analysis and pipeline management
  • Valid driving license and proficiency with PC-based tools
  • Prior experience mentoring or coaching junior sales professionals
