Key Account Manager, IND-APAC
Purpose of the Job
Grundfos Pumps is seeking Key Account Manager to join our IND- APAC in Japan, Tokyo. The primary responsibility for the role is to improve sales and grow a good relationship within area of responsibility. Responsible for yearly negotiations for own Industry customer group KAM and being the one point of contact for this Industry customer Group to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty. This role will be based in Tokyo, Japan. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Japan without support.
Responsibilities:
· With no supervision develop, grow and maintain the Industrial Key Accounts within own area of responsibility.
· Develop market knowledge to effectively improve commercial activities.
· Develop knowledge to be able to able to sell digital solutions – explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the Key Accounts.
· Identify different stakeholders (decision makers) and utilize the right approach to improve sales development.
· Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and efficient hit rate.
· Effectively follow up, investigate and report on Key Accounts and ensure regular dialogues.
· Introduce new product and solutions to the customers.
· Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and encourage debt collections within own area.
· Encourage the yearly negotiations with Key Accounts.
· Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.
· Review substantial quotations and project bids.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring ONE-GRUNDFOS.
· Other ad-hoc tasks or project as and when required.

· Collaborates with other PU functions and teams as required.
Required Minimum Qualifications
· Min. a Bachelor in business and engineering combined with at least 5 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role.
· Experience of working in a Key Account role.
· Fluent in English is a requirement
· Frequent travel within the role is expected
