Plant Assistant – Join Our GMH4 Team

 

Are you highly organized, proactive, and motivated by keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Plant Assistant to support our Plant Manager and management team in ensuring efficient, effective daily operations at GMH4. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy being the go‑to person for coordination and administrative support, this role could be a great fit.

 

About the Role

As a Plant Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the GMH4 plant’s leadership team. You’ll handle a variety of administrative and coordination tasks that help the plant operate efficiently and stay aligned with its goals. Your work will directly contribute to the success of supervisors, managers, and cross‑plant collaborators.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks related to GMH4 production
  • Support supervisors and the management team in daily operations
  • Perform secretarial and administrative duties across the plant
  • Coordinate activities and projects within GMH4
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date overview of tasks, priorities, and ongoing projects
  • Follow up on financial matters within the department/plant
  • Collaborate with supervisors, employees, the GMH4 management team, and coordinators in other plants

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Preferably fluent in English

 

Competencies & Experience

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Experience working with well‑defined administrative or business support processes
  • Ability to lead smaller processes or projects
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to work
  • Good communication and practical problem‑solving abilities
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience supporting business initiatives
  • A few years of relevant administrative or coordination experience (preferred)
  • Ability to influence others and ensure processes are followed
