What is the job about?
Grundfos has made an external SBTi commitment to the world to reduce our Scope 3 emission and accelerate decarbonation of sold products in 2022. As an Energy Optimization Specialist, you will be part of the Industry China SBTi Task Force to Ensure success of Grundfos Opex business model implementation and industrial customer carbon emission reduction objective realization – securing our SBTi ambitions are met and China business model transformation by 2030.

 

As the core team member of Industry China energy optimization business development team, He/She take responsibility for customer site energy audit, pump/controls/system solution proposal, energy saving/ carbon emission reduction and ROI analysis, methodology / solution presentation to external customers and partners.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for energy saving market development and sales result in agreed market .Project and solution sales. Develop sales network in terms of dealers, business partners.
  • Responsible for cultivating the ecosystem of energy saving business in these assigned regions. The key stakeholders include dealers, business partners, customers, energy saving associations and the government functions of energy saving, etc.
  • To search for/ consider new possibilities and prospects for generating new sales leads/developing new verticals.
  • To coordinate or participate in customer seminars, exhibitions and other sales promotion events.
  • Responsible for pump selection, familiar with pump types, pump structures, pump working principles.
  • Prepare technical training materials to train the sales team, channels, and customers, enhancing the technical capabilities of the sales team and channels.
  • Responsible for calculating pump energy consumption, familiar with pump parameters and performance curves, familiar with electrical parameters and principles such as motor, frequency converters and soon.
  • Responsible for customer site energy audit incl. tools/instruments preparation/maintenance, check point identification, tools/instruments installation/commissioning and data collection.
  • Responsible for energy-saving reports, including report check, report issuance, report optimization.
  • Train the partners on Energy Check/Energy Optimization methodology, using the Energy Check Tool/EO Tools/Sensors/Instruments, Data collection at site for the ECT/PAT, Generating the Pump Audit Reports

 

Your background:
We imagine that you have: 

  • Bachelor degree or above, in water engineering or relevant area
  • 5+ years working experience with fluid machinery or consultancy works in industrial fields
  • Familiar with theoretical knowledge of water pumps, hydraulic systems, provide analysis and calculation data
  • Familiar with manufacturing engineering application and technical background
  • Familiar with HVAC, water supply and drainage system principles, and hydraulic calculations
  • System interpretation is needed for the cooling cycle system and water supply system, specifying the functions of each component and their interrelationships, as well as the impact on energy consumption.
  • Understanding of the energy consumption of water pumps, specifying the logic between pump efficiency and pump design within the systems."
  • Having knowledge of system control, understanding the logical relationship between control and efficiency improvement, as well as the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) theory."
  • English as working language.
  • Good communication and presentation skill; Good team player with can-do attitude.
