Group Chief Key Account Manager - Industry

As our new Group Chief Key Account Manager - Industry, you will be managing and growing a portfolio of major global OEM key accounts, acting as the definitive corporate interface between Grundfos and some of our largest industrial customers.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Group Key Accounts, Industry OEM Sales team, you'll create impact by Driving strategic growth by developing deep, multi-level partnerships with global industrial OEM customers and unlocking new business opportunities across regions and functions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Own end-to-end key account management for global Industry OEM customers, including commercial and legal negotiations, contract creation, and ongoing contract management
  • Develop and execute 2-3 year strategic account plans aligned with customer CPOs and senior category management, driving net sales growth and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels using the diamond model — aligning technical, commercial, quality, and leadership touchpoints with customer counterparts
  • Coordinate across five regional organizations and internal functions (CSSC, Group Pricing, Finance, Logistics, IS, Product and Application management) to ensure global transactional quality, delivery performance, and issue resolution
  • Explore and develop new key account opportunities by approaching senior stakeholders in the market, building a specification-driven opportunity pipeline with planned specification targets.
  • Drive ECSS survey feedback loops and performance improvement planning to continuously elevate customer experience

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a commercially sharp, resilient, and relationship-driven senior professional with deep international sales experience, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead through influence in a complex matrix organization. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Higher-level commercial or technical education with 8+ years of international corporate sales or key account management experience in industrial/OEM environments
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex global accounts and negotiating high-value commercial agreements
  • Strong understanding of matrix organizations and ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration without direct authority
  • High proficiency in English (written and spoken); willingness to travel 50-80 days per year across Europe, USA, China, Japan, Taiwan, and potentially India

It is a plus if you also:

  • Technical background or familiarity with pump technology or industrial fluid handling solutions and/or controls
  • Experience working with specification-driven sales processes in OEM or recurring business models
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as German or a Scandinavian language

You'll also be available for travelling up to 80 days per year.
