As our new Global Vendor Planner, you will be executing cross-plant supply and inventory planning across our network, managing daily procurement routines, coordinating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvements that keep our production lines running without interruption. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Global Vendor Planning team, you'll create impact by Ensuring high delivery reliability and optimized inventory levels across multiple plants by building strong supplier relationships and proactively solving supply chain challenges..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Manage daily procurement activities including ordering materials for production, tracking deliveries, and reconciling invoices in SAP
- Act as the key operational link between production plants, suppliers, and Group Purchasing to ensure feasible supply plans and sufficient inventory levels
- Monitor and develop supplier performance, building strong relationships that increase flexibility and delivery reliability
- Handle exceptions affecting the purchase plan such as quality issues, breakdowns, delivery changes, and red alerts
- Drive procurement automation initiatives and deploy continuous improvement best practices with regional and global impact
- Contribute input and recommendations to the SIOP cycle, including vendor-related escalations and capacity reviews
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a genuine interest in supply chain operations and IT systems. We would also imagine that you have:
- Higher education degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or equivalent work experience
- Good English language proficiency, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with an open, energetic personality
- Natural interest and aptitude for supply chain IT systems and tools, including Excel proficiency
It is a plus if you also:
- Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management (0-2 years)
- Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Familiarity with supply chain planning processes, MRP, and performance KPIs
