Global Senior Product Manager, Drives
Job Description

We are seeking a driven and passionate Global Senior Product Manager, Industry, to spearhead the expansion of our variable speed drives portfolio. You will join a Product Management team dedicated to lead commercial and technical success of our Motors and Drives in Grundfos. 


A global business
In this role, you will be taking up the global end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management responsibility for the Variable Speed Drives portfolio in our Industry Division. You will build and execute commercial strategies in close collaboration with key stakeholders across a global organization and translate strategy into a successful product line. You will be working closely together with colleagues across Business Development, Product Management, Product Development, Marketing, Service, Supply Chain, Global Sales, and external partners. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Accountable for Global E2E Product Lifecycle Management, including develop and implement Product Plans.
  • Supplier Management and Planning in collaboration with Purchase.
  • Ensure product line profitability and growth, as well as execution of prioritized Quality, Product Data, Variants, Cost Out, Phase-outs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Keep track of the global competition landscape.

 

Roadmap and New Product Input

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate Product and Product portfolio roadmaps. 
  • Initiate and deliver input to new product development, based on customer insights and validation. 
  • Responsible for specifications in development projects and commercialization execution of the project (NBI role).
  • Deliver the voice of the customer in development projects.
  • Initiate commercial investigation on product proposals from market.


Marketing and Launch

  • Deliver content for Product Marketing.
  • Support and prioritize Go-to-market activities.
  • Provide Product support to Sales and Marketing.
  • Develop launch material and coordinate the need and execution with regions and group marketing.

 

You can expect approximately 20 days of traveling yearly.

 

About you
You have a strong technical background combined with a commercial mindset. You are an outgoing communicator and natural networker, with the ability to present and influence on Senior Management level. 
 

We imagine that you have:

  • A relevant technical and/or commercial degree.
  • Strong experience in a similar role with end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management, and familiarity with working in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with initiating and specifying development projects and ensuring market deliveries throughout the projects.
  • Ability to manage business priorities and user needs while delivering according to product roadmaps.
  • Experience with the product management role from a global industrial environment. 
  • Proficiency in English verbally and written.
