Global Project Sales Business Developer
Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of project business at Grundfos? As our new Global Project Sales Business Developer, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling the Industry division with go to market strategies, customer-centric approaches, and powerful tools to drive project sales across the globe. With an End-to-End perspective across the value chain, you’ll align regions and foster cross-divisional collaboration to unlock new opportunities and deliver impactful results.

 

Your key responsibilities

In this global role, you’ll be joining our Industry division with more than 3000 employees and you’ll be instrumental in shaping how Grundfos approaches project sales across the division. You’ll work End-to-End across the value chain, driving alignment, governance, and capability development across regions and divisions. Moreover, you will:

  • Lead global project sales excellence: ensure organizational understanding of project sales, end-user engagement, and stakeholder management across the functions.
  • Influence and collaborate with departments such as Operations, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery, Legal, Finance, HR, and IT to improve project delivery.
  • Define and implement project sales process, governance, reporting, procedures, tools, and training programs.
  • Drive regional alignment in project sales setup, including organizational charts, procedures, tools, training, and cross-functional capability building.
  • Facilitate strategy deployment and identify new opportunities, customer approaches, and value propositions.
  • Support other ad hoc tasks and strategic projects as needed.

 

Your background

You’re a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, able to navigate complex global setups and drive alignment across functions. Your proactive mindset and resilient personality make you a trusted partner in project sales development. Moreover, we imagine that you have/are:

  • A master’s degree in business and engineering, with 7–8 years of relevant experience in a large international company.
  • Strong skills in Project Management, Business Analysis, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills – both verbal and written.
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and empathetic with great people skills.
  • Experience working with CRM, SAP PS/BW, Office tools, and project management platforms.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role. You should expect around 30% of your time.
  • Fluency in English; a second European language is a plus.
