What is the job about?
Grundfos is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Industry Operations performance unit in the Americas region.
In this role, you will be responsible for the performance of the supply chain department through task guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager for Industry and will operate out of our Fresno, CA facility.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive and harmonious work environment.
- Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of supervisors/employees to ensure that the department achieves its business objectives.
- Select the right people and keep them trained and motivated to add value for Grundfos customers.
- Coordinate and commit to plan on behalf of the local plant, deploy and comply to the supply chain strategy.
- Execute on the supply network and production plan, drive local SIOP.
- Responsible for inventory management according to supply chain concepts.
- Implement and deploy best practices through continuous improvements and projects throughout Grundfos’ supply chain with a special focus on bigger scale tasks, likely with tactical/strategical focus.
- Continuously improve execution of practices and methods based on performance and process indicators.
- Solve issues and act as an expert supporting the operational side of Grundfos’ Supply Chain.
- Contribute to GPS (Grundfos Production System) Supply Chain element: contribute to the assessment model, metrics, support plants’ action plans, etc.
- Drive and execute Supply Chain Digitalization initiatives.
- Participate in and drive strategic and operational supply chain projects as well as audits/assessments and task force assignments.
- Drive and participate in the design and improvement of training activities.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 5- 7 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain.
- 3+ years people leadership experience.
- Experience leading, creating processes preferably within supply chain management.
- Experience executing on strategic initiatives within a complex business environment.
- Knowledge of closed loop manufacturing principles and MRP theory.
- Analytical aptitude: ability to mathematically and statistically analyze and interpret data.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to problem solve complicated tasks in a timely manner.
- Experience managing defined processes & analytics within Supply Chain.
- Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large (discrete) manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of the plans, processes, metrics and activities within the functional area in Supply chain.
- Ability to influence others.
- Capability to convert business situations into process and tools design with the ability to fast adopt new insights.
- Ability to frame, facilitate and drive improvement initiatives.
- Approach improvements from an end-to-end and holistic view.

The pay range for this position is $90,846 to $128,544. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.
Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.
