What is the job about?

 

As a Production Scheduler, you will apply a deep knowledge base and technical/business understanding to deliver a feasible production or purchase plan, you will participate in activities related to development and deployment of best practices within operational planning.

 

This position reports directly to our Americas Industry Sr. Supply Chain Manager and this position will operate out of the Fresno, in a hybrid model. 

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

 

The pay range for this position is $69,489 - $94,102USD annually. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.

 

Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Transfer supply plan and incoming orders into a production and purchase plan and support the execution of orders in production and distribution centers. Activities related to direct customer interaction and sales order handling can be included.
  • Together with the planning specialists, facilitate purchase of the raw materials and purchasing activities to keep sufficient inventory levels and stock optimization across the chain.
  • Ensure balance between machine, manning and material in the operational plan within the assigned area.
  • Handle exceptions affecting the production and purchase plan, e.g. quality issues, breakdowns, delivery changes, etc.
  • Support operational execution with data and information.
  • Inform relevant parties in the chain in case of changes.
  • Daily advisor role towards colleagues in the factory in matters related to operational planning.
  • Participate in executing local or regional training activities.
  • Implement and deploy best practices through continuous improvements and projects throughout Grundfos’ Supply Chain.
  • Continuously improve execution of practices and methods based on performance and process indicators.
  • Solve issues and act as an expert supporting the operational side of Grundfos’ Supply Chain.
  • Participate in Supply Chain Digitalization initiatives.
  • Collecting Supply Chain data for performance reporting and analytics.
  • Design and maintain metrics, indicators, dashboards; carry out relevant reporting and deep dive analytics.

 

Your background

 

We imagine that you have: 

 

  • Master’s Degree, bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with defined processes & analytics within Supply chain.
  • Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large (discrete) manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Most likely to have 2-4 years of relevant planning experience before entering level besides formal education.
  • Knowledge of the plans, processes, metrics and activities within the functional area in Supply chain.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Possess a natural interest & savvy for relevant supply chain IT systems/tools with the ability to fast adopt new one.
