As our new Production Scheduler, you will be developing and executing integrated production and supply plans that align demand, capacity, and material availability — ensuring efficient operational execution and high on-time delivery performance. This position reports directly to our Supply chain manager and is based in Fresno, California, and operates in a hybrid model.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

 

The salary range for this position is $53,300 USD – 70,590USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, California.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Driving operational excellence by ensuring production plans are realistic, achievable, and continuously optimized to deliver outstanding customer service and supply chain performance..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute production and supply plans aligned with demand, capacity, and material availability, leading daily scheduling to reflect operational priorities
  • Monitor and manage exceptions such as material shortages, delays, and quality issues, driving timely recovery actions to maintain plan stability
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels in close alignment with the Master Planner, ensuring material availability and system accuracy
  • Drive strong customer focus by ensuring high on-time delivery performance across key metrics (OTTR / COTTR / ASOT)
  • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, logistics, and cross-functional teams, providing clear and timely support
  • Identify and contribute to digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and supply chain performance

 

 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a results-driven planner with strong analytical skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or scheduling roles within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Solid knowledge of planning and scheduling processes including MRP, MPS, and production scheduling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Track record of driving continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams without direct authority
