Booster Tester
Job Description

What is the job about?  

The Booster Tester is responsible for building and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems. This person will work directly with Production Control, Engineering, and the Production Supervisor to ensure that Booster systems, as well as other electro-mechanical systems, are coordinated and built on time. Responsible for achieving defined tasks of the production processes by following established work standards.

 

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and operates onsite from our facility in Fresno, California.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Actively follows all safe work practices and procedures, as well as safety procedures of equipment.
  • Works closely with production supervisors, team leader, and technical staff.
  • Assembly and troubleshooting of products, including both electrical and mechanical aspects of products.
  • Insert OPR Data for proper trends to eliminate any waste in change overs.
  • Work in an effective team environment to create a positive team dynamic.
  • Assembly and troubleshooting of products, including both electrical and mechanical aspects of products.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, control instructions, and work instructions.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.
  • Move to production needs when needed.

 

Your background 

We imagine that you have:

  • Course work with emphasis on electricity is preferred. One to two years’ experience is preferred in the following: assembly and testing of high-voltage control panels, troubleshooting relay logic, reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting systems using electrical instruments.
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to work within a team.
  • Understand and demonstrate a proactive safety approach.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work in factory environment with technical skills.
  • Good analytical thinking and willingness to learn.
  • The ability to operate daily out of the Fresno, California facility.

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is $22-$28 USD hourly. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
