What is the job about?
In this role, you will deliver finance support to Water Treatment Europe operations and act as a people manager for the plant controllers, business analysts, and the special functions team. You will work closely with the WTE Finance team to ensure optimal contribution to group profitability and play a significant role in transformation journey with the new established Water Treatment Europe organization.
Your main responsibilities:
- Proactively support and constructively challenge the management team in the definition and execution of business plans.
- Contribute with constant focus on performance management and high-quality analysis to strengthen decision-making processes.
- Be accountable for finance in the performance unit and act as one point of contact for the management team.
- Ensure optimal contribution to group profitability on relevant dimensions.
- Provide financial insights to the unit management team on strategic and tactical levels.
- Monitor and follow up on main KPIs and ensure corrective actions are taken if needed.
- Drive the financial planning process, including preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious work environment.
- Select, lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a high-performing team of employees.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience.
- 6-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Experience in performance management and business planning.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
