Job Description

Would you like to be responsible for driving initiatives that promote employee well-being, diversity, equity, inclusion, and community engagement for our largest and most ambitious plant operations in Grundfos located in Inđija, Serbia?

  

What is the job about?

As our Employee Wellbeing, DEI & Community Engagement Specialist you will be responsible for driving initiatives that promote employee well-being, diversity, equity, inclusion, and community engagement at our locations in Serbia. This role will align with Group initiatives, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on progress. Will also manage and coordinate relevant forums and groups in each pillar to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of programs.

You will be working out of facilities in Inđija, Serbia, and have a dotted reporting line to the Country Director, Veljko Todorović and report directly to Chief HR Business Partner of the global divisional operations, Miroslav Stanković.

 

Employee Well-being

  • Raise Awareness: Promote mental health and well-being awareness among employees on site.
  • Champion Initiatives: Actively support and drive wider initiatives related to mental health and well-being.
  • Culture of Inclusion: Foster a culture of inclusion and openness around mental health and well-being.
  • Early Conversations: Utilize training to have early conversations regarding mental health concerns.
  • Coordinate with Divisional and Group Well-being teams to ensure alignment and support

 

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

  • Drive DEI Agenda: Lead the country-specific DEI agenda, ensuring alignment with Group initiatives.
  • Representation: Advocate for the representation of employees with disabilities.
  • ERG Coordination: Manage country Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and liaise with Group ERGs to ensure cohesive efforts.

 

Community Engagement

  • Program Coordination: Develop and manage community engagement programs that reflect Grundfos’ values and volunteer policy.
  • Volunteer Opportunities: Coordinate and promote volunteer opportunities for employees, ensuring high participation in events that benefit local communities and align with our sustainability goals.
  • Grant Applications: Collaborate with local and national organizations in Serbia to co-develop and write compelling community grant applications that support impactful projects and initiatives. Also, use the opportunity to apply for The Poul Due Jensen Community Engagement Grant.
  • Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all community engagement activities in Serbia, building strong relationships with NGOs, civic groups, and other stakeholders.

 

 Coordination:

  • Group and Divisional Alignment: Ensure all activities are aligned with Group initiatives and strategies. Taking part in coordination of DBS initiatives
  • Country Groups: Coordinate with existing groups for each pillar to ensure effective implementation and collaboration.
  • Country Membership: Country & Plant HR, One HR Forum, Country Forum

 

In addition, you will take part in people initiatives across all plants that are part of the DBS division globally, in close collaboration with colleagues from the global HR organization.

 

What do you need to apply?

  • Master's or bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferably in a similar position
  • Proven experience either in community engagement or CSR, Well-being or DEI.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities (especially in grant writing)
  • Passion for sustainability, social impact, and community development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders
  • Advanced business communication skills, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
