About the role
We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in GDD and handle service jobs related to water treatment systems and associated equipment. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality installation, commissioning, and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and troubleshoot installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of water treatment systems, pumps, and control panels independently.
- Perform basic PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed technical service and inspection reports, including findings, causes of damage, corrective/preventive actions, and photos.
- Read, check, and verify project engineering documents (e.g., P&ID, electrical, mechanical, civil).
- Coordinate site activities, supervise subcontractors, and manage daily job planning.
- Communicate effectively and present technical information clearly.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, controls, water treatment, and pumps.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in service or field roles within the water and wastewater industry.
- Basic PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively due to the nature of the job.
- Ability to work extended hours when required.
- Customer-focused mindset, strong collaboration skills, and problem-solving abilities.
