Chief Software Quality Engineer
Job Description

Would you like to to strengthen the quality of Software offerings in Grundfos Product Development to provide the quality level that has been promised to customers? Do you have a technical background in software engineering? If yes, you might be our new Chief Quality Engineer!

 

What is the job about?

As our new Chief Software Quality Engineer, you will bridge all areas of Software Development with regards to processes quality management and software quality assurance plans. Moreover, you will:

·       Deploy an assessment model for software development maturity on offerings and platforms.

·       Keep the right balance between reliability, availability, supportability and maintainability in order to reach the expected performance and dependability of offerings and platforms.

·       Verify the requirements to offerings and platforms either via documentation or other verification methods according to international industri standards.

·       Define measuable quality objectives and goals in alignement with customers needs.

·       Ensure that the requirements are allocated through the architecture of the platforms and offerings by collaborating with lead architects and system integrators.

·       Represent end customers needs, requirements and expectations by turning them into verifiable and validatable specification on product and system level.

·       Ensure and drive a failure response setup in order to quickly react on feedback from the market, failures and application knowledge.

·       Focus on the quality status of the offerings thoughout their entire lifecycle from SW release to desposal.

·       Be involved in identification of any risks and impediments by highlighting them to the rest of the organisation.

·       Invent, develop, maintain and deploy Grundfos quality tools and methods for software Quality ensurance.

 

Your background?

We imagine that you:

·       Have a technical background within Software engineering or other level.

·       Have 7+ years of experience within the software development

·       Have experience with Model-based system engineering.

·       Have great communication skills in written and spoken English.

·       Have experience in developing products in collaboration with an entire organisation.

·       Have experience with quality methods such as risk minimizing tools (FMEA, FTA, ETA etc.).

·       Have experience with training, coaching or teaching an organisation

·       Can drive and motivate others.

·       Have an analytical and systematic mindset.
