Chief Project/Programme Manager

As our new Global Program Development Manager, you will lead end-to-end product development programs within our Idea to Market framework, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality delivery of business-critical offerings.

This role is based in Bjerringbro, with a requirement to be onsite at least three days per week.

What you will be doing

As part of the Portfolio Optimisation & Excellence team, you will drive the successful execution of complex, strategic product programs that shape innovations reaching customers worldwide.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex product development programs end-to-end—from mandate through launch and handover, ensuring delivery on scope, quality, cost, time, and benefits
  • Securing governance and compliance with the Decision Point (DP) Model, including gate approvals and GO/NO GO decisions
  • Aligning senior stakeholders across Project Boards, leadership teams, and cross-functional partners in Sales, Product Development, Operations, and Quality
  • Driving project planning, resource allocation, and dependency management across global teams
  • Proactively managing risks and issues while promoting continuous improvement and efficient ways of working
  • Partnering closely with the Technical Project Owner to ensure technical alignment and successful execution

What makes you a great fit

You are a structured and decisive program leader with strong business acumen and proven experience managing complexity across global organizations.

We expect you have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Business, or similar
  • 8–10+ years’ experience leading complex product or program development in multinational environments
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification with hands-on governance experience
  • Experience working in Lean-Agile setups across hardware and software projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Fluency in English

It is a plus if you bring:

  • Experience leading teams or mentoring project professionals
  • Exposure to digital transformation or digitalization programs
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction processes
