As our new Chief Engineer Digital Transformation, you will be driving the strategic modernization of Grundfos manufacturing by leveraging digital technologies, data-driven approaches, and Lean methodologies to deliver measurable operational improvements across our global production network. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Digital and Manufacturing Excellence (DMEx) team, you'll create impact by Defining and executing the digital roadmap that transforms how Grundfos manufactures products worldwide, delivering competitive advantage through operational excellence and innovation.

Your main responsibilities include:
•    Create and maintain the Digital Excellence roadmap, aligning it with Group Operations strategy and driving a clear project pipeline that balances top-down and bottom-up initiatives
•    Lead the integration of digital tools and data-driven approaches into Lean and operational excellence practices, ensuring adoption on the shop floor with measurable results
•    Execute Grundfos Production System (GPS) assessments at least twice a year and maintain a consistent feedback loop on GPS implementation across all manufacturing sites
•    Provide professional leadership to Lead and Senior Engineers, bridging gaps between developmental goals (new technologies, innovation) and foundational needs (GPS, Lean, training)
•    Collaborate with Group AME, Supply Chain, Quality, CI, and Divisional stakeholders to ensure digital solutions meet operational needs and deliver meaningful savings across Operations
•    Build and maintain external relationships with universities, industry bodies, and conferences to ensure Grundfos stays at the forefront of manufacturing excellence and innovation

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a strategic, hands-on leader with deep expertise in digital manufacturing transformation and Lean methodologies, capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and translating complex technology into real operational value at scale.

We would also imagine that you have:

•  Master's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Digital Technologies, or equivalent
•    8-10+ years of experience in manufacturing research and development, including developing and implementing digital transformation and Lean strategies
•    Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a large global manufacturing environment
•    Strong professional leadership experience guiding senior technical professionals across multiple disciplines
•    Experience with IT/OT integration, Industry 4.0 technologies, and manufacturing execution systems is a plus
