As our new System Test Engineer, you will be designing, executing, and automating system-level tests for Grundfos products, verifying that integrated hardware and software solutions meet rigorous quality and performance standards before reaching the market. What you will be doing

As a key part of the System Test & Verification team, you'll create impact by Driving product reliability and customer confidence by building robust test strategies that catch issues early and accelerate time-to-market for world-leading pump and water technology solutions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute system-level test plans, test cases, and test procedures for new and existing products
  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks and test environments for hardware-software integrated systems
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
  • Define and track quality metrics, ensuring products meet functional, performance, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and methodologies across the R&D organization
  • Participate in design and architecture reviews to ensure testability and early defect prevention

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineer with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in system-level testing of embedded or electromechanical products, and a drive to deliver quality at every stage of development. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in testing with pump systems or motor drives, IoT-connected products
  • Knowledge of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, REST/HTTP, WebSockets)
  • Experience in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android) interfacing with connected devices
  • Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, or similar)
  • Experience with structured test methodologies and defect tracking tools

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into development workflows
  • Knowledge of relevant standards such as IEC, UL, or CE certification requirements
