Sr. Payroll Specialist, Chennai, India

What is the job about?

This role will be a close partner to business and local representative of Asia payroll and benefit organization. In this role, the Sr. Payroll specialist supports payroll and compliance process and procedure. As the key resources to work with Global project team for payroll system harmonization in Grundfos India   

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate various compensation-related activities to ensure that payroll is processed accurately and on time for Grundfos India
  • Calculating overtime, shift payments, and employee bonus and prepare payments for social contribution, individual tax, including tax settlement or any payroll related process
  • Resolve payroll related enquiries from employees and managers or other stakeholders
  • Prepare and support annual merit increase/ annual bonus payout process
  • Participant in the regional payroll process review and system consolidation projects
  • Work closely with payroll operation center to ensure the payroll data quality
  • Continuously improve the payroll operation process
  • Other projects and tasks assigned by manager     

 

 

Your background:

        We imagine that you have:                                                                                        

  • Min. as bachelor’s combined with minimum 5 years of HR experience above, and 3+ years in Payroll function for the India Company with 500+ employees
  • Could process payroll independently
  • Have the insights into global process
  • Have the expertise with local labor law and tax legislation.
  • Experience with SAP
  • Good communication skill in English
