As our new Service Coordinator, you will be coordinating end-to-end service activities for pump installations, maintenance, and repairs — ensuring timely responses, smooth scheduling, and outstanding customer satisfaction across the region. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Service Operations team, you'll create impact by Driving service excellence by ensuring every customer interaction is handled efficiently, building trust and long-term partnerships that support Grundfos's mission of pioneering water solutions..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and schedule service visits, maintenance activities, and repair jobs for field service engineers across assigned territories
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing service requests from intake through completion with clear communication
- Track and manage spare parts availability, ensuring timely procurement and dispatch to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain accurate service records, generate reports, and update CRM/ERP systems with job status and customer information
- Collaborate with sales, technical, and logistics teams to resolve escalations and deliver on service level agreements
- Support shift-based operations to ensure continuous service coverage and responsiveness to urgent customer needs
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a proactive and detail-oriented coordinator with strong multilingual communication skills, hands-on experience in the pump industry, and a genuine commitment to customer service excellence. We would also imagine that you have:
- Graduate in any discipline with 1-3 years of experience in the pump industry or related industrial service environment
- Strong command over English, Tamil, Hindi, and at least one additional regional language
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP tools and MS Office applications
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with field service coordination or dispatching in a manufacturing or engineering services context
- Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump/water technology products
- Knowledge of SAP or Salesforce platforms
