Senior Security & Process Engineer

As our Senior Security and Process Engineer, you’ll drive security‑by‑design principles and process excellence across the product lifecycle, ensuring Grundfos solutions meet the highest standards of cybersecurity and operational integrity. What you will do

  • Define and implement security architectures and threat models for embedded and connected platforms
  • Develop and maintain secure development lifecycle (SDL) processes and best practices across R&D
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing
  • Integrate security requirements into agile workflows
  • Collaborate with firmware, cloud, and hardware teams to remediate findings
  • Monitor evolving regulations (IEC 62443, EU Cyber Resilience Act) and ensure compliance

What makes you a great fit

You are a security‑minded engineer with expertise in embedded/IoT security, process optimization, and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams. Ideally, you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 9+ years in product security engineering or secure development processes
  • Strong experience with OT cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443‑4‑1, 4‑2)
  • Hands‑on experience with threat modeling, security testing, and vulnerability management

Nice to have:

  • Experience with industrial IoT, OT security, or smart device ecosystems
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH
  • Familiarity with agile/SAFe and CI/CD security integration
