As our new Senior Product Developme

nt Engineer, you will be driving hardware architecture and electronics system design for controls products including variable frequency drives, controllers, power electronics, and monitoring devices that form the intelligent backbone of Grundfos pump systems. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Controls Product Development team, you'll create impact by Designing scalable, robust electronics platforms that power millions of pumps worldwide, directly advancing Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water and energy solutions..
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Architect microcontroller platforms (8/16/32-bit) with ADC, DAC, GPIO, and memory interfaces (SDRAM, EPROM) for next-generation controls products
•    Create robust electronics architectures for VFDs, soft-starters, controllers, and power-drive systems ensuring reliability and manufacturability
•    Lead system-level design for complex product lines, defining long-term platform scalability and reuse strategies
•    Develop detailed schematics using PADS and Altium Designer, and validate designs through simulation in PSPICE, LT-SPICE, and MATLAB
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, and test engineering teams to bring products from concept through production release
•    Drive design reviews, DFMEA, and technical risk assessments to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on electronics architect with deep expertise in embedded hardware design, power electronics, and a track record of delivering complex control system products from concept to production. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
•    12+ years of experience in hardware/electronics design for embedded control systems, VFDs, or power electronics products
•    Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (PADS, Altium) and circuit simulation tools (PSPICE, LT-SPICE, or MATLAB/Simulink)
•    Strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture selection, analog/digital circuit design, and power conversion topologies
