What is the job about?
The Projects Portfolio Manager will be responsible for leading a programme of projects within an agreed scope. You will lead the opportunity from handover from sales through to order fulfillment with the emphasis of the role being on creating winning and profitable proposals to form the foundation for the global projects business
Specifically, you will work to:
- Owning the delivery of project opportunities from handover from sales to order fulfillment and close out
- Ensuring submissions meet the governance requirements of Grundfos
- Working with other Grundfos functions to develop technically and commercially robust proposals that mange risk, scope and margin
- Working alongside sales and other stakeholders to negotiate the final offers and contracts with customers
- Ensure the appropriate supply chain and project execution arrangements are in place to deliver the project to time, cost and scope.
Your Background
- B.E/ME/MTECH Engineering background having strong hands on experience in project proposal and estimation.
- Atleast 15+ years of experience in Pump Industry with similar role.
- Knowledge of the supply chain and supply chain processes
- Some experience with project handling
- Some experience with the commercial aspects of sales activities Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the project vision and goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages a plus
- Experience in large MNC is added advantage
