As our new Software Development Engineer, you will design and develop Flutter-based applications across mobile, desktop, and Linux HMI platforms, while driving CI/CD excellence and contributing to product development that makes a real difference. What you will be doing 

  • As a key part of the Software Product Development team, you’ll deliver high-quality cross-platform applications that enhance how Grundfos products are controlled, monitored, and experienced by users worldwide. 
  • Design and develop cross-platform Flutter applications for Android, iOS, Windows, and Linux HMI platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability 
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enabling automated build, test, and deployment 
  • Apply security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including secure coding and vulnerability assessment 
  • Collaborate with senior and lead specialists to transfer products to the full value chain and ensure knowledge sharing across teams 
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain application performance across multiple platforms while ensuring compliance with relevant standards 
  • Deliver clear documentation, status reports, and communication of progress and key metrics to stakeholders 

 

What makes you a great fit 

  • You are a collaborative and detail-oriented software engineer with strong Flutter expertise, a passion for cross-platform development, and the ability to drive processes and influence outcomes in a product development environment. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 3–4 years of relevant professional experience 
  • Proficiency in Flutter and Dart for cross-platform application development 
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (preferably Jenkins) and automated deployments 
  • Understanding of platform-specific integrations and APIs for mobile and desktop environments 
  • It is a plus if you also have 
  • Experience with Linux HMI development or embedded platform interfaces 
  • Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability assessment, and compliance standards 
  • Proven ability to lead processes or projects in a product development context
