As our new Production Planning Specialist, you'll be driving production planning processes that ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery across our manufacturing operations. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by optimizing production schedules and material flows to ensure Grundfos delivers sustainable water solutions to customers worldwide, on time and at the right cost.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain detailed production plans aligned with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory targets
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and smooth production flow
• Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively adjust plans to mitigate risks and delays
• Analyze key planning KPIs such as schedule adherence, lead times, and inventory levels to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with demand planners and sales teams to translate forecasts into actionable production schedules
• Support S&OP processes by providing accurate capacity and supply insights to leadership
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a detail-oriented planner with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to continuously improve production efficiency. We'd also imagine that you are/have:
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of MRP/MPS concepts, capacity planning, and inventory management
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field
