As our new Manager Software Development & SCRUM Master, you will be managing a software development team while serving as SCRUM Master, driving agile best practices and delivering high-quality software solutions that support Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water technology. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Software Development R&D team, you'll create impact by Leading agile transformation and software delivery that directly powers Grundfos's next generation of intelligent pump solutions and digital services.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as SCRUM Master by facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions to ensure consistent delivery of sprint commitments
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable development priorities
  • Coach team members and the broader organization on agile principles, driving maturity in SCRUM practices
  • Ensure software quality through code review processes, testing strategies, and adherence to engineering standards

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on technical leader with a strong agile mindset, capable of balancing people management with SCRUM facilitation and passionate about building high-performing development teams. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 15+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in a people management role
  • Proven experience as a SCRUM Master or agile coach in a professional software development environment
  • Strong technical background in modern software engineering practices (e.g., CI/CD, cloud-based architectures, embedded or application software)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience in R&D or product development within industrial, IoT, or manufacturing domains
  • Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
