What is the job about?

Lead architecture for development and enhance the features in the Grundfos cyber security software for controllers, pumps and drives to ensure that we continue having the world best products by developing embedded software in close collaboration with the other developers using our common software platform. Take the lead in the team by driving the solutions and architecture of our software and security, using the huge experience you have in guiding the colleagues and lean out towards the other part of the development project and ensure that the software is a well integrated part of our development. We work in an agile environment where flexibility is a natural thing as well as the ability to plan your own day.

Your main tasks will be:

• Responsible for leading and driving process compliance in the Indian office of Embedded Software Development for security and other applicable standards.
• Work with developers to ensure that code libraries, code standards etc. incorporate proper security elements.
• Drive and ensure that security driven requirements and architecture are properly prioritized in backlogs. Ensure that cyber/information security risks are addressed for example through penetration tests.
• Coordinate and lead internal audits/assessments related to compliance of software development processes (ISO27001, IEC62443-4-1, and other applicable standards).
• Reach out to colleagues, mentor & guide them so the development process is enhanced as well as the products are becoming more innovative
• SW architecture & Governance
• Contribute to enhancements of existing reference architecture and framework
• Contribute to architecture  process & governance
• Identify and implement best practices with respect to architecture
• Design and development of different embedded SW for product applications with focus on cyber security across Grundfos embedded software solution

Your background

• Experience of 12+ years of relevant work experience after formal degree of B.E/ B. Tech, M.E/M.Tech (Electronics Background)
• Knowledge of C/C++ in embedded environment (Software Development)
• Understanding of Secure Elements in embedded software and hardware solutions
• Good software architecture and development skills
• Strong execution skills regarding defensive/offensive cyber security measures within embedded products and interface to point-to-point and cloud solutions
• Technical foundation within the above
• Knowledge on IEC 62443 standards and ISO 27001.
• Can take up a deep technical discussion with most and command respect
• Understanding of framework elements such as OWASP, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, IoT SF Security Guidelines
• End2End understanding of a Grundfos digital offering
• Understanding of electronics production and how to inject security elements during production
• Embedded Connectivity and interactions with Cloud services
• Kubernetes, Azure SaaS/PaaS (and/or equivalent in other cloud platforms, such as Google, AWS, AliCloud)
• IoT device understanding
• Linux, Monolithic/custom OS/RTOS, SoCs, ICS protocols (SCADA, Modbus, BACnet, Genibus, etc.), Wireless protocols
• Practical experience with relevant tools, e.g. MS Threat Modeling, BlackDuck, statistical code analysis, security test, code scan
