Work as a Disability Hub Recruiter

The role is a merged responsibility to ensure we can deliver high quality in attracting, recruiting, and integrating people with disabilities into the organization. Also, to leverage and further build upon the current ongoing work around hiring people needing accommodations.

 

The disability hub recruiter ensures the awareness of hiring people with disability in the organization, connecting with hiring managers, maintaining strong sustainable recruitment channels for the target group, participating as a hub recruiter and supporting the onboarding by providing training to colleagues and solving the challenges of having the right position and the right candidates at the same time by ensuring strong sustainable recruitment channels for the target group, and ensuring the local organization is equipped with relevant knowledge for recruitment, onboarding, and employment of people with disability.

 

Competences and qualifications needed are;

 

  • Promote recruiting activities to identify, engage and secure a good candidate at the right time with the right costs to fully meet business needs. This will be achieved through creative sourcing techniques and utilization of the global recruiting system and process.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the business needs and deliver quality candidates in a cost-effective and timely manner. This will be achieved through creative sourcing techniques and utilization of the global recruiting system and process. The Recruiter will have the responsibility for ensuring a good user experience, both for the hiring managers and for the candidates, in all stages of the process. 

 

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the business needs
  • Encourage Hiring Managers to recruit people with disabilities
  • Conduct Recruitment Planning Meetings to agree on suitable disability strategy and set clear expectations on time frames etc
  • Full utilization of the SuccessFactors Recruitment system as per the Global process
  • If necessary, prepare attractive Job Advertisements that align with Global guidelines
  • Source effective and passive candidates through our disability recruitment channels
  • Screen candidates against required skills and company-identified competencies via various methods for hiring people with disabilities
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through timely communication with Hiring Managers, external partners, and candidates
  • Provide a final shortlist of candidates to Hiring Managers in a timely manner and schedule interviews accordingly
  • Administer and interpret SHL Assessments as required
  • Partner closely with the Compensation and Benefits Management Team to adhere to global C&B policy
  • If required, present and negotiate job offers to candidates obtaining acceptance
  • Participate or support as subject matter expert with the onboarding by providing training to Hiring Managers and colleagues
  • Maintaining strong sustainable recruitment channels for people with disabilities, including partnering with the local CSR responsible for current and new NGOs
  • Provide disability awareness training to recruiters and hiring managers

 

A stickler for deadlines and a person with a zest for learning

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience recruiting within an agency or a corporate environment (a large manufacturing environment is highly desirable)
  • Experience and ability in independently driving recruitment processes.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations when applicable for the recruitment and HR area.
  • Applying recruitment tools
  • Creative approach and experience sourcing using a range of techniques- LinkedIn Recruiter experience desirable.
  • Performing talent pool searches and productive talent interviewing
  • Advanced communication skills, verbal and written in English
  • Ability to build trust and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working with a Recruitment candidate management system is desirable
  • Ability to handle confidential and personal information with the utmost integrity
  • Results-orientated approach and experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence to encourage Hiring Managers to 'think outside the box'
