What the job is about

We are looking for a Digital Development Team Lead to guide a highly skilled engineering team responsible for delivering high‑quality digital solutions, platforms, and system capabilities that support Grundfos’ long‑term strategy.

This role connects technology, product needs, and business outcomes—ensuring strong execution, architectural integrity, and continuous improvement across our digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and develop teams across cloud engineering, DevOps, and related digital domains to ensure strong performance, engagement, and continuous capability growth.
  • Foster a culture of trust, transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning across distributed teams (with close collaboration between India and Denmark).
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, capability assessments, and development plans aligned with organizational strategy.

Digital Delivery & Execution

  • Oversee end‑to‑end execution of digital development activities, ensuring high‑quality local ownership of outcomes.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards for quality, security, robustness, and maintainability.
  • Support agile ways of working, including backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning where relevant

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement within digital engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, quality frameworks, documentation, and governance.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, architectural guidelines, and platform standards.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in workflows, tools, and engineering processes.

Risk, Compliance & Quality Management

  • Proactively identify risks related to deliverables, cybersecurity, architectural choices, or dependencies—and escalate early when needed.
  • Ensure the team follows internal governance, data privacy requirements, and quality standards.
  • Support onboarding, training, and compliance activities for new team members

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering—preferably Computer Science, Digital Systems, or related fields.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in digital product development, software engineering, system design, or similar roles, including 4+ years leading teams or technical workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of modern digital system design (cloud, IoT, embedded–cloud integration, APIs, platforms).
  • Experience with Agile development, DevOps, modern engineering toolchains, and software lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and business domains.
  • Experience working in cross‑cultural, multi‑geography environments (India/Denmark/global).
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
