What is the job about?

 

The Automation Engineer is primary responsibility to the project delivery engineer primary responsibility is to manage Indian Industry projects from negotiation to commissioning, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitable business.

 

Specifically, you will work to: 

 

  • Support Proposals team by preparing GA/SLD + Concept BOM, Make Approval, Cost Estimate during Pre-Order Stage. Provide technical solution to customer.
  • Responsible for the execution of Controls & Automation of the Project Business.
  • Manage the Electrical Design AUTOCAD, Eplan, Monitor Scope Change during the execution stage
  •  Responsible for Production Drawings for Control Panel, Selection of Panels, VFD, Switchgears, Automation products say HMI, SCADA, Remote Monitoring devices etc
  • Responsible for Final BOM, Budgeting, Cost Management, Build of the control panel alongside with the Operations team or with the suppliers
  • Responsible for the delivery of control panels in stipulated timing as per customer requirement
  • Responsible for PLC, SCADA, HMI programming development and testing at Grundfos plant ABB, AB, Schneider, Siemens
  • Responsible for the installation, commissioning, erection, testing at Customer Site
  • Responsible for delivering Automation solutions to Customer with Cost, Time, Scope, Quality     

 

Your Background

 

  • Bachelor’s in engineering electrical & Electronics Engineering 4-8 years of relevant experience working in similar role EPLAN, E-CAD, Siemens PLC, VFD, HMI, SCADA, Control Panel, Switchgears.
  • Knowledge Electrical System Design, Circuits, P&ID, Controls & Automation products
  • Hands-On experience in PLC, SCADA Programming, HMI Interface
  • Hands-On experience in Control Panel LV, MV, HV testing and installation
  • Hands-On experience in Electrical CAD
  • Proven experience of delivering demanding projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment on time, cost and quality.
  • Excellent business and technical experience, with a strong talent for enabling productive communication between groups
  • Positive and resilient personality
  • Great people skills and highly empathic
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills verbally as written
  • Good stakeholder management skills - across borders and on all levels
  • The ability to work in a demanding and ever-changing environment where meeting time deadlines are a key task
  • Experience in working with CRM/SAP PS/BW, Office package, Project management tools, CAD knowledge etc
  • Travel within the role must be expected
