As our new Associate Hardware Development Engineer, you will be contributing to the design, testing, and development of electronic hardware for next-generation pump systems and water solutions within a collaborative R&D environment. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Hardware Development team, you'll create impact by Developing reliable, innovative hardware designs that enhance product performance and support Grundfos's mission to pioneer sustainable water solutions worldwide..
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Design and develop electronic hardware components including PCB schematics, layouts, and circuit designs for pump control systems
•    Conduct hardware testing, verification, and validation to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards
•    Collaborate with software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to integrate hardware into complete product solutions
•    Analyze test data, troubleshoot hardware issues, and implement design improvements based on findings
•    Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and bill of materials
•    Support prototype builds and contribute to design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineer with a solid foundation in electronic hardware design, strong analytical skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for developing products that make a difference. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field
•    1-3 years of experience in hardware design, including schematic capture and PCB layout
•    Working knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, or embedded systems
•    Familiarity with hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers
It is a plus if you also:
•    Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar EDA software
•    Exposure to EMC/EMI testing and compliance standards (CE, UL, or similar)
•    Understanding of motor drive electronics or power conversion topologies
