As our new Associate System Engineer, you will be contributing to the design, development, and integration of system-level solutions within our manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you'll create impact by Developing robust system engineering solutions that enhance product quality, streamline manufacturing processes, and support Grundfos's mission to pioneer sustainable water technology..
Your main responsibilities include:
•    Support the design and integration of system-level engineering solutions for manufacturing processes and product platforms
•    Collaborate with design, product, and project engineering teams to define system requirements, interfaces, and specifications
•    Conduct system-level analysis, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards
•    Identify and troubleshoot system-level issues, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
•    Contribute to documentation of system architectures, design decisions, and engineering change processes
•    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system reliability and manufacturing efficiency

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineer with a solid foundation in systems thinking, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset eager to grow within a world-class manufacturing organization. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
•    0-3 years of experience in system engineering, product development, or manufacturing engineering
•    Solid understanding of system integration principles, requirements management, and engineering documentation
•    Proficiency with engineering tools such as CAD, MATLAB, or similar analysis software
It is a plus if you also:
•    Experience with PLM systems or requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Windchill)
•    Familiarity with pump systems, fluid dynamics, or electromechanical products
•    Exposure to INCOSE systems engineering principles or relevant certification coursework
