As our new Associate Planning Specialist, you will be supporting demand and supply planning processes that keep our global operations running smoothly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance inventory, service levels, and cost efficiency. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Driving planning accuracy and operational excellence that ensures Grundfos can deliver sustainable water solutions to customers worldwide..
Your main responsibilities include:
• Support demand and supply planning activities, including forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling
• Analyze planning data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving service levels and reducing costs
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to align plans with operational capacity and customer demand
• Maintain and update planning parameters and master data in ERP and planning systems
• Prepare reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key supply chain KPIs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the planning function
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented, analytically minded professional with a solid foundation in supply chain planning and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. We would also imagine that you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
It is a plus if you also:
• Experience with planning tools such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or similar platforms
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) or willingness to pursue one
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
