Associate Planning Specialist
Job Description

What is the job about?

 

 Apply subject matter knowledge, capabilities to drive and support improvements within the continuous development. To provide operational support for Grundfos supply chain, through process improvements or advanced analytics. Follow and adhere to the Grundfos Safety and Environmental standards. Report & Take actions on the Potential Hazard and Safety/Environmental Incidents that came to employee’s notice / observation during work / Safety walk.Work towards improving the Safety culture and ensure the wellbeing of the employees.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  •  Convert purchase requisition to purchase orders for direct materials through SAP against the schedule.
  • Review the open purchase orders and follow up with the suppliers for on-time delivery.
  • Facilitate the purchasing team with the necessary forecast for raw materials and for maintaining sufficient inventory levels across the value chain.
  • Should be familiar in SAP MM module and maintain MM data in SAP within the area of responsibility
  • Ensure a steady flow of materials needed for seamless production schedule
  • Suggest appropriate changes in maintaining the correct Re-order level, MOQ and ROV based on the demand.
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of supply chain activities.
  • Co-ordinate with warehousing, quality and other cross functional team to ensure all products arrive on time and in good condition    

 

Your Background:

 

  •  Must be a bachelor’s degree graduate preferably in Mechanical Engineering
  • Must have at least 4~6 years of experience of proven track record in supply chain. 
  • Knowledge in SAP Materials Management module
