What is the job about
The Algorithm Development Specialist will do algorithm design in close collaboration with the product development projects ongoing and bring these algorithms to the final product ensuring value creation for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the new algorithms in the DBS products.
- Facilitate/support the transfer of products to the full value chain.
- Work closely with lead specialists from T&I as well as application specialists and others to create value for the DBS customers.
- Build and share knowledge of our algorithm design with colleagues and use simulation as the core in the development in both verification and development part
- Provide substance and content within own professional area.
- Apply key knowledge and technologies.
Your background
- An Engineering having strong hands-on experience in control engineering or signal processing working in a large MNC
- Atleast 10+ years of experience within algorithm development using python scripting
- Strong expereince in Matlab Simulation
- Strong experience with planning own work and keep track of time spent and quality in deliveries
- Knowledge in Embedded C coding
- Well documented understanding and ability to drive the relevant development systems and simulation usage as an active part of the development
- Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable for product development
- Strong drive to learn and coach colleagues
- Good communication
