Associate Planning Specialist
Job Description

As our new Material Planner, you will be executing supply and demand planning for key components — from long-lead castings to custom motors — ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time to support production goals? You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

 

What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Driving material availability and inventory optimization that directly enables Grundfos to deliver sustainable water solutions to the world on time.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain feasible material plans, sharing them with production, purchasing, and regional stakeholders
  • Manage replenishment of long-lead castings (8-16 weeks), custom motors, and critical mechanical seals through MRP/SAP
  • Participate in SIOP cycle meetings, contributing data-driven input and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain high master data quality for planning parameters, safety stocks, and ABC/XYZ classifications
  • Collect, analyze, and present supply chain performance data using Excel and Power BI dashboards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives including VMI, consignment inventory, and Kanban program

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented supply chain professional with strong ERP proficiency, analytical curiosity, and a knack for building productive supplier relationships across international markets. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, preferably SAP, with hands-on planning experience
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills for inventory analytics and safety stock optimization
  • Business-level English with the ability to communicate and negotiate with international suppliers
