As our new Water Treatment Sales Development Engineer, you will be supporting external sales colleagues and customers with quick, precise, and professional commercial and technical responses across all aspects of Water Treatment — from tender preparation to project follow-up. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Water Utility - Water Treatment Commercial team, you'll create impact by Connecting internal expertise with customer needs to drive successful water treatment business development and deliver solutions that make a real difference in water quality..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Analyze customer requirements and prepare accurate commercial and technical offers for public and private tenders
  • Serve as the key link between internal teams (CSU-GWT, Projects-GWT) and external sales engineers and customers
  • Provide technical support to sales colleagues, partners, consultants, and end users, including documentation and quotation handling
  • Monitor official portals to identify and feed new project opportunities into the sales pipeline
  • Maintain CRM records with up-to-date opportunities, notes, and customer information
  • Follow up on quotations and projects, contributing to goal setting, strategies, and action plans within the segment

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically skilled professional with strong commercial acumen, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine customer-oriented mindset who thrives in collaborative team environments. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Degree or advanced studies in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Advanced English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical requirements and prepare detailed quotations
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in sales support activities or technical-commercial roles
  • Familiarity with water treatment technologies and applications
  • Experience working with CRM systems and tender/bidding processes
