As our new Service Engineer, you will be delivering expert on-site and remote technical support for Grundfos pump systems and water solutions across Egypt, diagnosing issues, performing commissioning, and building trusted relationships with customers. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Service & Aftermarket team, you'll create impact by Ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical water infrastructure by delivering exceptional technical service that keeps our customers' operations running smoothly..

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Grundfos pump systems and related equipment
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and provide technical recommendations to optimize system performance
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and provide timely, effective solutions
  • Prepare detailed service reports, document findings, and communicate recommendations to customers and internal teams
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customers on proper operation and maintenance of Grundfos products
  • Collaborate with sales and application engineering teams to identify service opportunities and support business growth

 

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a hands-on technical professional with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset who thrives working independently in the field. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of experience in field service, commissioning, or maintenance of pumps, rotating equipment, or industrial systems
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including motors, drives, and control panels
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)

 

It is a plus if you also have:

 

  • Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and SCADA/BMS systems
  • Prior experience working with Grundfos or similar pump manufacturer products
  • Valid Egyptian driving license and willingness to travel across the region
