Job Description

What is the job about?

 

Apply broad subject matter expert knowledge with a high degree of technical/business insight. Develop initiatives/activities with an impact across units and/or at area/regional level. May have some degree of functional responsibility.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Participate in business development projects and Drive activities in the segment to support the implementation of business strategy.
  • Collect and analyze market and competitor data.
  • Support development of business plans for business development projects.
  • Support implementation of business development projects in cooperation with relevant partners in the value Chain.
  • Represent market segment at various events such as exhibitions, customer events and seminars.
  • Identify business potential and focus entities on local markets across the region and support Regional Sales/Business Development in marketing activities for the MUNI products.
  • Identify program / activity needs towards key market stakeholders / develop further activities with support of Head of Marketing and Head of Sales.
  • Build relationship and align activities with trade councils. Plan & Drive product launches, seminars and marketing campaigns (external).
  • Drive market analysis and competitor intelligence (and support for PM).
  • Establishing and maintaining relationship with Municipalities.
  • Support consultants and designers on present and future projects.
  • Identify potential markets and drive activities for demand generation / develop further activities with support of Head of Marketing and Head of Sales.
  • Provide product range/GPC based on market (area) needs in discussion with sales.
  • Maintain/propose products to be in price books price lists for Sales organizations.
  • Develop and maintain product general specifications.
  • Support product approvals & vendor lists for MUNI customers.
  • Support product launches & marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate product updates & new developments.
  • Involved and providing market specific inputs in all DP stages of new product development projects.
  • Driving product/accessories localization projects.
  • Product technical support to stakeholders.
  • Provide content for product campaigns.
  • Third party suppliers’ relationship & support.
  • Project meetings with Sales.
  • Project technical support to sales/BD and partners to consultants during design stage or closing deals with contractors.
  • Drive application related trainings/seminars towards potential projects.
  • Advising product selections (projects/application specific) to CSSC and sales.
  • Project meeting with customers, consultants to sales to increase chances of success.
  • Provide design recommendation
  • Supporting water supply projects and applications.
  • Support and conduct MUNI specific trainings, seminars and workshops for internal and external stakeholders (partners across the region, sales, support functions)

                        

Your Background:

 

  • Experience managing defined processes within business development.
  • Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Most likely to have 5-6 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education.
  • Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in a specific market segment.
  • Strong ability influence others.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the specific market segment
  • Preferred Education  Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience
