Lead Sales Engineer, Water Utilities – Egypt

We’re looking for a visionary Lead Sales Engineer to drive our municipal and groundwater infrastructure (GWI) business in Egypt. This role reports to the Area Sales Director WU - MENA and we will need someone on the ground in Egypt

 

What you’ll do:

As our new Lead Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Lead and evolve the sales strategy for Egypt, aligned with MENA goals.
  • Drive consistent, profitable growth in both top-line and bottom-line results.
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate across departments—marketing, operations, finance, HR—to deliver customer excellence.
  • Expand and manage distributor networks while resolving conflicts with finesse.
  • Monitor market trends and advise leadership with data-driven insights.
  • Ensure all processes align with Grundfos values and code of conduct.

 

Your background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering (bonus points if you’re passionate about water solutions). A Master’s degree in business/commercial is a plus
  • Engineering degree (Master’s in Business/Commercial is a plus).
  • 5 - 10 years of experience, including leadership of mid-to-large businesses.
  • Proven track record in P&L ownership and delivering year-on-year growth.
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with corporate experience in a matrixed multinational.
  • Open to new ideas, with a sharp eye for improvement and gap analysis.
  • Passion for people, HR processes, and building inclusive teams.
  • Excellent command of English, and Arabic
