What is the job about?
Grundfos is seeking a CSSC Application Engineer. The Application Engineer will contribute to a thriving CSSC Back Office team by providing timely and effective technical advice to the incoming inquiries through various customer channels. They will be responsible for providing technical support with subject matter expertise by delivering world-class customer service by handling complex and escalated inquiries while supporting and guiding the CSSC Back Office team.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your main responsibilities:
- Provide second-level technical assistance and deliver intermediate to advanced technical support to customers, including detailed product sizing, application engineering, system integration, and accessory selection.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that ensure optimal performance and practical implementation in diverse environments.
- Identify and implement value added services and enhance customer relationships.
- Support sales teams by managing technical aspects of tenders and mid-scale projects.
- Deliver accurate product dimensions, detailed specifications and engineering calculations and address operational and maintenance requirements to ensure project feasibility and customer satisfaction.
- Provide assistance and/or solutions for the CSSC Back Office teams.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience within Customer Service.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP (CRM/SD).
- Fundamental Product and Application knowledge of pump and pumping systems – Pumps, Control Panels, Motors, etc. is required.
- Good communication and networking skills with an ability to build strong and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
