What is the job about?
CI Senior Manager is accountable for managing the Division Continuous Improvement network, deploying the Group strategies & initiatives and GPS, and supporting Plants Leadership team in continuous improvement activities.
Reporting directly to the VP Group Components, the CI Senior Manager can be based in US, in Mexico, in Denmark, in Hungary. The role requires approx. 60-80 travel days per year.
Your main responsibilities:
- Provide support the Plant Managers, APU Managers and Plant CI Managers to understand the CI strategies, the respect of the standards and deploy the CI tools
- Actively participate in development and deployment of CI tools and methods
- Manage the Plant CI Managers network of the division:
- Annual professional competences appraisal,
- Contribution & validation to recruitment,
- Definition of training plan, validation of Succession Plan
- Manage detection and growing of local CI potentials
- Organize division network meetings
- Assess, train and coach to develop the Division/Plants CI competences Matrix
- Coach and advise Plant Leadership team to build Plant CI improvement roadmap and to build and deploy CI tools
- Ensure regularly Genba in depth the proper deployment of CI roadmaps and ensure a close follow up of progress plans
- Animate and host Genba Kaizen Workshops
- Ensure strategy deployment through correct application of X-Matrix, A3, TIPs
- Deploy and follow Group initiatives
- Challenge CI Budget & Financial indicators of Plants in budget preparation phase
- Validate, challenge & follow savings from Kaizens and Projects
- Support MOS (Management Operating System) and GPS (Grundfos Production System) actions for each Plant
- Maintain Division/regional CI conventions or benchmarking activity
- Support troubleshooting and building progress roadmaps for Plants when Industrial crisis
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
- Lean Certification and/or 6 Sigmas Black Belt is a plus
- More than 10 years experiences preferably in automotive industry
- Proven record of successful Production System deployment across regions in international companies
- Experience developing and implementing overall operating processes preferably within Continuous Improvement and/or Lean Process design
- Experience developing and executing key strategic initiatives within a complex business environment
- Extensive experience operating and leading a large team and/or complex process preferably within Continuous Improvement, Quality, Supply chain or R&D & Projects
- Fluent in English
