Senior Sales Engineer, DBS
Job Description

What is the job about? 
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will leverage your expertise and technical/business insight to drive impactful initiatives across units and at the regional level. This role may also involve a degree of functional responsibility.

 

This position reports directly to our Sales Manager, DBS Argentina & Chile, and will operate hybrid function of the Buenos Aires, Argentina (Garin) facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Argentina without support.

 


Your main responsibilities: 

  • Identify and conduct feasibility studies for new business opportunities that could utilize Grundfos products and services.
  • Execute tactical sales plans and activities aligned with overall sales strategies; assist in preparing budgets for sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting.
  • Advise customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on products, performance, new offerings, modifications, system solutions, applications, and terms of sales/service.
  • Gather market intelligence on trends, competitor strategies, and activities; provide recommendations to counteract competitor actions.
  • Deliver specialized product and application training to customers, dealers, and the sales team.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.
  • Register all customer interactions and opportunities in the global CRM tool according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure customer master data is accurate and up to date for your portfolio.

 

Your background

We imagine that you have: 

  • Experience managing defined processes within Domestic Building Services.
  • Industry experience in a business environment; experience in a large manufacturing setting is strongly preferred.
  • Approximately 5–6 years of relevant work experience in addition to formal education.
  • Solid knowledge of plans, processes, and activities within Domestic Building Services.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to guide others.
  • A thorough understanding of relevant systems, local laws, and regulations applicable to Domestic Building Services.
  • BS degree preferred.
