Grundfos is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing LATAM, DBS team.  The Marketing Specialist will be responsible to ensure local, regional, and global digital, paid, and traditional marketing activities are deployed with high efficiency and with focus on optimizing impact. This includes making sure activities are localized, proofread, and deployed according to agreed go-to-market plans. It also includes production of marketing materials provided by local suppliers. The Marketing Specialist will continually evaluate activities and deploy corrective actions in order to drive impactful marketing activities, to help ensure Grundfos is positioned with the strongest possible value proposition in the individual markets. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with DBS Sales, Customers and Marketing & Solutions” DBS marketing  team. This position reports directly to the Marketing Supervisor and will operate daily out of the Garín-Buenos Aires, Argentina facility.  Relocation for this position cannot be supported.

What is the job about?

• Responsible for delivering on local objectives, processes, operational efficiency and concrete execution plans for generating awareness through a regional and global marketing media plan both offline and online.
• Responsible for developing a Local market position towards wholesalers/distributors, installers, and homeowners.
• Responsible for localizing global activities to match the individual markets. This includes both fine-tuning of messaging, translations, and proofreading.
• Execute on local engagement activities such as customer events.
• Make sure local digital presence is up to date and collaborate other Marketing team members and business partners to achieve this, including Sales, Product Management, and Operations while working close with external agency.
• Responsible for securing deployment commitment together with local Sales teams.
• Responsible and accountable for developing a more effective approach regarding marketing content, including how marketing content, through a value-based selling approach, can increase the quality of Sales visits.
• Responsible for making sure local marketing activity budgets are in control and meeting the budget framework decided.
• Manage regional vendors and work with global ones to help meet objectives.
• Other duties as required.

What do you need to apply?

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, advertising or similar. Additionally, have a minimum of  2+ years of job experience.

• Experienced in managing projects
• High level of marketing and digital understanding
• High business knowledge to understand how marketing and digital drives business in a B2B context including a B2C approach.
• Min. 2 years of experience within Sales and Marketing
• Cross-cultural understanding and experience
• Fluent English and Spanish skills in writing and speaking
• Shall have positive attitude & be initiative in nature
• Good people skills and able to work with people at all levels
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• Shall be a good team player
• Knowledgeable on digital skills including marketing automation, analysis of digital opportunities (e.g. Digital atomization flow), digital customer journey optimization and deployment on multiple digital channels including social media, nurture campaigns, web experience and other digital touchpoints        
• Must be able to travel up to 10% if necessary. Thus candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
