Industry Finance Business Partnering

You will become a valuable member of our Finance Business Parterning organization for one of our 4 Global Business Units (Industry). Being part of a global organization, the role is located in Budapest playing an important role in supporting Industry sales in APAC and China. We, Industry Finance Business Partnering team are dedicated to Industry business activities, aiming creating value for our business and our industry customers.

What is the job about?

As a Senior Finance Business Analyst, you will primarly support the Industry Sales division in APAC (Asia Pacific Region) and China with analysis, planning, financial forecasting, revenue, expense and investment budgeting. The role can also include analysis, projects or business cases covering whole Industry division.
Your main stakeholder will be the Financial Business Partner for Industry APAC, located in Singapure and the Financial Business Partner for Industry China, located in Shanghai.
Your duties include researching trends about the position of the division, specific industrial end user markets, region or other defined business dimensions.

Together with the Finane Business Partner you will be driving the monthly sales planning (SIOP Process), making sure that we have a proper price input for our products. It will be one of your tasks to do cost analysis, analysing product cost development for the industry segment and also understanding profitability development.
Doing monthly performance analysis by understanding performance and coming up with actions will be one of your crucial tasks.

One of your main responsibilities will be to do different kind of analysis for the division, from an End-to-End perspective. Getting and understanding of the performance reporting and linking sales development to performance in operation plants is therefore crucial. The analysis will span from focusing on long term investment-related business decisions to short term day-to-day operations of the business.

You will provide analysis of business drivers, financial performance improvement action recommendations, sales analytics, and other performance-based analytics. You will prepare Budgets, Forecasts and support on Strategic planning and you will help securing that planning is supported by initiatives and corrective actions.

What do you need to apply?

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting,
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in business analysis/business consulting,
  • You speak English on advanced level (oral and written),
  • You have experience building planning models, including strategy, budgets, and forecast cycles/programs,
  • You are able to clearly and concisely summarize data and present conclusions to senior management,
  • You have experience using of complex spreadsheets and data-sets to consolidate and analyze data,
  • You have a proactive personality, like to investigate, and you are fond of doing analysis by deep diving in the system,
  • You have strong MS Excel, Power Point skills, PowerBI would be a great plus,
  • You have a good understanding of SAP and SAP BW.
