Senior Accountant, Group Treasury
Job Description

Would you like to join the Grundfos Group Treasury Back Office and have the key responsibility of execute controlling and activities in relation to banks and investments with both daily controlling activities and monthly reconciliations, analysis and reporting?

What is the job about?

As our Senior Accountant, Group Treasury you will be responsible for reporting, controlling, settlement, monthly closing accounting activities, reconciliations and all activities defined in the SLAs/OLAs for Grundfos Group Treasury Back Office for the selected companies within the Group treasury area.

We are looking for a person interested in taking on a key responsibility, having a continuous improvement mindset, embracing new technologies, strong accounting/controlling background, and a person that finds it interesting to develop and grow with the position.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • To execute all activities as defined in the SLAs/OLAs for Group Treasury Back-Office for selected companies
  • To execute daily activities, controls and all bank clearing functions and perform daily and monthly reconciliations and reporting
  • To prepare Back-Office-related reports, hereunder Bank Fee Report including bank contact and internal contact 
  • To execute closing activities (monthly, quarterly, year-end): Execute reconciliation of account balances, add and release provisions, etc.
  • To execute all other Group Treasury related tasks requested by Process Manager or/and Head of Group Treasury, Risk Management and Insurance
  • To handle Group Treasury mailbox and related issue resolution
  • To follow-up on business partner master data (accounts, interest rates, margins)
  • Settlement, confirmation and reporting of all Group Treasury transactions
  • Month-end closing of all treasury deals
  • Post processing bank statements, monitoring and clearing of treasury accounts
  • Supporting Group Treasury Front Office with data gathering for analysis and audit
  • Communication with local Finance organizations regarding settlement of deals
  • Controlling loan and deposit margins for the group entities
  • Support continued optimization of the Group Treasury Back Office processes, reconciliations, reports etc.

 

Your background:

  • University or college degree in economics or finance
  • Good accounting knowledge
  • 2-4 years of professional accounting experience (e.g. in OTC or RTR) and experience within the relevant area(s)
  • Advanced communication skills in English, oral as well as in writing
  • Experience in supporting and leading process improvement initiatives preferably in SAP system
  • Track record of great stakeholder management with external and internal and collaboration partners
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • An interest in new technologies (AI/digitalization)
  • Solid working knowledge with SAP / ERP systems 
  • Solid working knowledge with MS Excel and MS Office in general

Starting date

We would like you to start as soon as possible and no later than April.
