Lead Finance Business Analyst, Domestic Building Services (DBS) - Budapest

We’re looking for a Lead Finance Business Analyst to join our Divisional Finance team and help shape the future of financial insight and performance management across our global business.
What is the job about?
As a Lead Finance Business Analyst, you will be the vital link between our financial data and strategic business decisions. Through your studies of financial data, attempting to spot trends, patterns and make forecasts, you’ll drive impactful analysis, develop self-service tools, and deliver compelling insights that form the basis for decision making at senior management level.
This role reports to the Finance Director and will be based in Budapest.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive relevant and timely analysis with an end-to-end focus, clearly and concisely addressing challenges and opportunities across DBS with the aim of delivering new, relevant and actionable insights to Senior Stakeholders
- Delivering compelling storytelling for Senior Stakeholder Meetings and Materials utilizing both internal and external information.
- Developing and maintaining tools and models for reporting, financial planning and analysis in collaboration with FP&A Architecture, Reporting CoE, and IS.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including the use of AI and automation.
- Engaging directly with Finance Business Partners and Business Stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, decision-ready insights.
Your background:
- A Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business controlling or finance business partnering.
- Strong technical skills in SAP (R3 FI, BW, Analytics Cloud), IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1), Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and ThinkCell.
- A proactive, self-driven approach with excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- The ability to simplify complex data and present it clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proficiency in English.
