Italian Speaking Senior Finance Controller
Job Description

What is the job about?

We are seeking a Senior Finance Controller to join the Finance Controlling team. The Finance Controller will be responsible for securing compliant and optimized performance reporting for Performance Units (based on IFRS)  and statutory / tax statements for Grundfos Entities (based on local GAAP). This position will operate from Budapest.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead accurate monthly/year-end reporting as well as statutory financial statements for legal entities including relationship to statutory outsourcing partner
  • Contributing with a constant focus on compliance and quality within the financial reporting through complex analysis, continued compliance development, reduction of complexity as well as efficiency optimization.
  • Evaluating compliance issues in business cases and projects in close cooperation with business partners.    
  • Challenge and support harmonization, efficiency and effectiveness of global finance controlling/accounting processes, statutory compliance processes and internal control processes
  • Initiating and defining the need for complex analysis, drive the continued development of monitoring, and secure a high quality financial reporting and compliance with global policies and procedures and Group accounting.
  • Supporting the Finance organization at Group Level and at Performance Unit Level in adhering to the Accounting Manual and Financial Policies.
  • Supporting forecast and budget for Country directors.
  • Lead efficient and value adding external audit process, being main contact to local authorities, local auditors and local outsourcing partner

 

Your background

 

We imagine that you have:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is Required.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in a Corporate Finance role.
  • In depth knowledge of SAP software, intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Proficiency in English and communicational level in Italian or preferably another major European language 
  • Excellent analytic skills
  • Strong, organized personality with ability to do the prioritization in the daily work
  • Flexibility and good change management
