As our new German Speaking Cash Collection Professional, you will be managing cash collection activities across a German-speaking customer portfolio, ensuring timely payments, resolving disputes, and maintaining healthy account aging through proactive daily engagement with customers and internal stakeholders. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Credit & Collection team, you'll create impact by Driving effective cash collection and portfolio health that directly strengthens Grundfos' financial performance and customer relationships across the DACH region..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Drive proactive daily communication with German-speaking customers to collect outstanding payments and register payment promises
- Monitor account aging, initiate collection calls, and follow up on broken payment commitments to reduce overdue balances
- Coordinate timely dispute resolution and perform account reconciliations to keep portfolios healthy
- Support credit management by providing insights for setting appropriate customer credit limits
- Prepare for and attend recurring cash calls while identifying trends, concerns, and write-off recommendations
- Seek continuous improvement opportunities to enhance processes and service quality
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a proactive and systematic finance professional with strong communication skills in German and English, comfortable engaging customers by phone and committed to delivering quality results in a shared service environment. We would also imagine that you have:
- 1-3 years of relevant cash collection or credit & collection experience in a Shared Service environment
- Fluency in both German and English
- Solid Excel skills and basic understanding of Order to Cash or similar financial processes
- Willingness to work from the Budapest office at least twice a week
It is a plus if you also:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- SAP knowledge or experience
- Interest in AI applications and process improvement initiatives
